Well, as most of you know, the Picklesimer's enjoy having 50 million things going on at once. I guess I will start from where I left off in the last blog.
Shane has been working at Progress Rail in Albertville for around 16 months now, which means that he has been traveling 3 hours a day to work. With Hudson coming soon, we decided it was time to move. After having the condo on the market for almost 2 years, it finally sold and we were able to buy a house in Guntersville. I will spare you the long story of how it all came about, but it was nothing other that God's working in our lives. Needless to say, the second time I ever came to Guntersville we put an offer on a house and closed on July 31.
The first 2 weekends in August I had my baby showers. The first one was in Jackson and was given by my family and friends. It was so nice to see everyone and despite the terrential downpour, we had a great time. The second shower was in Birmingham and was given by Shane's family and our friends from Birmingham. Shane and I are so blessed to have such great families and friends.
After baby showers for 2 weekends, that left us at August 14 for a move in. Word to the wise...try not to move to a different town while 9 months pregnant. You feel worthless because you can't do anything. However, thanks to the parental units on both sides and the nice movers, we at least have most things in place. Just have to organize and get ready for Hudson's arrival.
Speaking of Hudson's arrival, after many doctor's visits and much prayer, it has been decided that Hudson will be delivered by c-section due to concern about my heart. Assuming that he can wait until then, he is scheduled to make his grand entrance on September 15.
I know I promised belly pictures last time, but unfortunately I can't find my camera cord to my computer. I hope to find it soon and I will post pics then.
